SafeSchool is provided to schools (the data fiduciary) as a tool to coordinate student commute, parent verification, and vehicle gate passes. We act as a data processor on behalf of the school.

This policy covers our web dashboard, parent submission flows, and any communications we send on behalf of a school.

We collect only what is needed to operate the service: parent name and contact number, student name and class, home address used for pickup mapping, vehicle make / model / registration, and the generated gate pass identifier.

We do not collect biometric data, financial information, or browsing activity outside the SafeSchool dashboard.

Data is used to build accurate pickup maps, verify parent identity at the school gate, issue vehicle passes, and notify schools and parents of changes. We do not sell data, run advertising on it, or share it with third parties for marketing.

Data is stored on managed infrastructure in India with encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Access is restricted to authorised school administrators and a small operations team under audit logs.

Row-level security ensures one school cannot read another school's records.

Student and parent records are retained while the student is active at the school plus one academic year, then deleted or anonymised. Schools may request earlier deletion in writing.

Parents may request a copy of their submitted data, correct it, or ask the school to delete it. Requests go through your school's SafeSchool administrator, who can action them from the dashboard.

Information about students under 18 is provided by parents or guardians and used solely for safe commute coordination. We do not create student-facing accounts or profiles.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be notified to school administrators through the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect.
